바닷가 그 어느 왕국엔가
'에너벨 리'라 불리는 혹시 여러분도 아실지 모를
한 처녀가 살았답니다

컨트리뮤직 명예의전당 헌액 이 곡은 에드가 알란 포우의 시 '애나벨리"를 짐 리브스가 낭송했습니다. 운동선수였던 짐 리브스는
대학을 다니면서 아르바이트로 기타교습을 했다고하네요. 더이상 운동을 할 수 없게 되어 다시 기타를 손에 잡았고 DJ가 되었습니다. 그 후 1964년 비행기 사고로 타계 할 때까지, 부드럽고 깔끔한 목소리로 많은 히트곡을 낸 가수입니다.
